Membership Application- New Service Application

 

  • Ordering or Transferring Service? You can start or transfer service simply by visiting our customer service office. 

    In most cases, service can be started the next regular workday. We do request if possible at least 3 days' notice. 

    If you are not in the area, you may print out the form and email or mail it back to us using the billing email address. 

    Please note that it will need to be notarized if not signed in our presence.

 

Request for Disconnect, Name Change, 

or Mailing Address Change

  • To stop service with Northern Rio Arriba Electric Cooperative, or to change personal information on your account ( names, addresses, phone numbers , etc.),  please complete the form and mail/ or scan and email it to our   customer service office, or email

     

  • To change the name on the account, we require a copy of a death certificate or a deed.

Construction Requirements

Service to newly constructed or newly wired homes, or line extensions to existing properties, will usually require an appointment for staking, estimates, city or state inspections, and permits needed before service can be connected. 

First, a Membership Application, Deed, and Land Plat ( Survey) must be turned in to the office to start the process.


All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Paperwork tuned in after 30 days needs to be re-estimated.

Payment is only accepted after all paperwork in the packet are completed and turned in.
